Seven Important Tips on Writing Awesome Posts on Your SEO Blogs
Been reading quite a few SEO blogs recently and came up with several suggestions to relate to the folks running seo blogs, and Web copy in general.
Ask yourself these seven questions, act and spike ever more fascination with your SEO articles.
1. Do you see trends? – With myriads of SEO stuff floating throughout the Internet, we are increasingly in need of writing that compartmentalizes itself nicely into our inundated heads. Trend tracing articles are one way of making our online reading experience less time-consuming, you may try to use seo tools. Users no longer have time to spare for reading 500 pages on, say, onpage optimization ebooks. “What’s the trend?” “What’s the big picture?” – these are the questions we tend to seek answers to while reading SEO blogs. So you’d better not restate single facts. Alternatively, trace trends, link one related topic with another, and your SEO blog post will get noticed.
2. Does your writing pulsate with life? – Why do readers visit the same SEO blog again and again? They must be offered a unique writing every time. Successful SEO publicists generate copy that pulsates with energy. That’s a mix of imagery, animation, graphs -elements that make content magnetic. But your words matter just as much. Do they have thought attached to them or are they thoughtless gibberish?
3. Are you doing your homework? It’s unbelievable how many badly researched SEO blog articles exist on the Web. Ignore this advice if you are a seasoned SEM professional with over a dozen of years of SEO experience behind your name. The rest of the folks writing to search engine forum: do your research. Opinion-rich writing is great but people also want to learn. Share some SEO tips, discuss recently published findings or articles. And make an effort to cite your sources.
4. Are you being a showoff? Give yourself a reality check every time you are about to make your SEO article public. A funny pun that is frequently used in your locale might be hurtful or misunderstood by readers coming from oceans away. Same is true for slang and ostentatious words used in 19th century novels. These are telling of your IQ, without a doubt, but they may also offend you readers. Try writing simply without appearing plain.
5. Are you organizing your content? Manage your SEO blog site in a way that makes readers process information quickly. Bullet points, plenty of white space, paragraphs (3-5 lines max), short sentences, bold fonts, friendly page design. Is your SEO blog logically categorized into sections? Are you linking together your writing so that readers seamlessly move from one SEO blog post to the next?
6. Who are you? Famous bloggers intrigue readers by revealing a bit of their character. Your professional life, places and individuals that made an impression on who you are today could help add life to your SEO blog and enhance your credibility as a living, breathing person with a family, hobbies and other exciting details you feel like sharing.
7. Are you talking? Successful bloggers have a strong fan base. Make it painless for your SEO blog followers to converse with you. Encourage debates, reply to comments, answer questions, enable feed subscriptions. Not to sound outdone, make it easy to disseminate your articles in social media, and use Facebook, Delicious and what-have-you to disseminate announcements about your SEO blog and keep your readers updated.
Best of luck blogging and hope your content turns into the ultimate ruler on the Internet.
